Radio amateurs test their systems for emergencies
The Los Alamos Amateur Radio Club - or HAMS - were on United States and Canadian airwaves Saturday afternoon participating in a nationwide competition of transmitting emergency response signals. Group members gathered at the North Mesa Picnic Grounds and set up two stations.
